Just over two months out from Bluesfest, event organisers have added another 18 artists to the 2023 line-up including Coterie, Dami Im, Frank Turner, Steve Poltz and Steve'n'Seagulls.
The new additions join a bill already flooded with talent: Beck, Beth Hart, Counting Crows, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Gang Of Youths, Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit, Kaleo, King Gizzard, Larkin Poe, Mavis Staples, Michael Front & Spearhead, Paolo Nutini, St Paul & The Broken Bones, Tash Sultana and Trombone Shorty. Other highlights of today's arrivals are local favourite Bobby Alu, Dog Trumpet (featuring original members of Mental As Anything and The Cruel Sea), the dirty blues of Frank Sultana (who recently took out first place in the solo/ duo category at the International Blues Competition), and folk-roots-country mainstays Hussy Hicks.
"Honoured to be back at the legendary Bluesfest Byron Bay this April," shares Frank Turner.
"Like things could get any better. . . Been bursting to share this friends. We're going to Bluesfest baby!" beams Frank Sultana.
Adds Coterie: "What's gooodie Byron Mates. AUSSIE we are stoked and honoured to be joining one of the thickest of line-ups for the iconic Bluesfest; we've dreamed of playing this festy since we were groms, so come soak it up with us."
While Hussy Hicks can't wait to reconnect with their Bluesfest fam. "We're extremely excited to let you know that we'll be performing at the 2023 Bluesfest Byron Bay. It's always such an honour to be able to perform in such a world-class environment. Who's coming?"
