UK indie royalty, Bloc Party return to Australia to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut album 'Silent Alarm'.
Part of the angular guitar, dance-punk revival of the early 2000s, Bloc Party's 'Silent Alarm' reshaped the indie landscape (winning NME Album Of The Year in 2005) with a swag of classics that still resonate two decades later.Set to headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane in August original members, singer Keke Okereke and lead guitarist Russell Lissack alongside the rest of Bloc Party group will perform 'Silent Alarm' in full including the bangers 'Banquet', 'Helicopter', 'This Modern Love' and 'So Here We Are'. That's not forgetting the deeper album dives like 'Positive Tension', 'Blue Light', 'Price Of Gasoline' and the 13-minute epic record closer 'Compliments'.
Bloc Party will then perform a second set of their classics, drawing from their six-album catalogue including 'Flux', 'Hunting Witches', 'Traps', 'The Love Within', 'Octopus', 'Signs', 'I Still Remember' and 'The Prayer'.
