It's three weeks and counting to the Gold Coast's 2015 Bleach* Festival.
Bleach* is the multi-faceted, multi-location music and arts festival for all ages. Surfing as performing art? Yep. See '(M)Ocean' in the programme. Picnics? Sure. Contemporary artists and musicians. Yessir. See 'TIDE'. Circus, kids' entertainment, street party ... ahhah — all that.
Artist-In-Residence will be Clare Bowditch; named Rolling Stone 'Woman Of The Year', EN 'Young Woman Of The Year' and actor of the character Rosanna in TV series, 'Offspring'.She'll conduct a series of master-classes to encourage aspiring and professional artists to follow their dreams. There'll also be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a 3-hour, free performance workshop with Clare. She'll perform at a free concert during the festival and make guest appearances.
Festival director, Louise Bezzina, says there will be more bands and artists at Bleach* 2015 than ever before.
