Blanco White Australia 2026 Tour

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

English folk singer-songwriter Blanco White returns to Australia in 2026.

After a successful debut tour down under last year, the 'Olalla' and 'Colder Heavens' hitmaker will headline concerts in Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next March. Both Sydney and Melbourne are in his Top 5 Spotify monthly listeners.

The project of Josh Edwards, whose fascination with the Spanish-speaking world developed when he visited Latin America when he was ten, Blanco White (the name was inspired by the Spanish writer José Maria Blanco White) has released two studio albums.

His most recent release was the single 'Fish In The Reeds' that dropped in May. "Really hope you enjoy listening to it," he posted. "A huge thank you to everyone involved.

"I took the early sketch of the song to Piloa Dami (percussion) and Alec Hewes (double bass) and we worked on the rhythm section together at home. It was a really fun session, and we tried to capture the live spirit of the arrangement at Fish Factory studio, engineered by Mo Hausler.

"We recorded Lottie Gabriel's dreamy string parts at home in London, and Jasmine Jethwa added her beautiful voice to the song, singing with me in the choruses and improvising at the end. Special thanks to Charlie/ Lottie and MAVICA who did additional BVs."

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 4 September.
