British soul-R&B icon Billy Ocean returns to Australia in 2025.

After celebrating the 40th anniversary of his seminal album release, 1984's 'Suddenly', which was reissued on blue vinyl in September, Billy will headline concerts in Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in September.

"I'm thrilled to get back to Australia – every time I come there, I'm welcomed with open arms. Can't wait to see all my fans – it will be one, giant party," confirms Billy, who'll perform all his greatest hits and fan favourites.

First making the mainstream in the mid '70s with his first hit single 'Love Really Hurts Without You' from his debut, self-titled album (which also featured 'Red Light Spells Danger'), it was Billy's fifth studio record, 'Suddenly', that made him a global star.

The record features arguably his biggest hit, 'Caribbean Queen' (that would later be rewarded with a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Performance) as well as 'Loverboy' and the title track.

His follow-up album 'Love Zone' would introduce the world to 'When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going' (that featured in 1985 film 'The Jewel Of The Nile'). Billy's next major hit was his 1987 number 'Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car'.

After some years out of the spotlight, his reputation flourished again in the 21st century with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the MOBOs and an Ivor Novello for International Achievement, and an MBE. His recent UK tours have included major London shows at the Royal Albert Hall and the Palladium, while his total global album sales have exceeded 30 million.

Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 10 February.
