Australia's best music conference, BIGSOUND, has added another 80 artists to its 2013 line-up.
The newcomers — including Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Jonti, Gossling, Kingswood, Chance Waters and more — join the previously announced Xavier Rudd, Megan Washington, The John Steel Singers, Stonefield, Bleding Knees Club and more.
"BIGSOUND has cemented its place as the week that Australia's music industry come out to play and for anyone looking for reasons to join in the party, this list is a pretty good place to start," said BIGSOUND executive programmer Graham Ashton.
"The quality and quantity of applications for BIGSOUND increases each year and our second artist announce is truly mind-blowing. It's wonderful to see the value the artist community places on showcasing at BIGSOUND. It's just a shame that we've only got 120 spots because there are more artists than ever who are worthy to be part of the event."
BIGSOUND Live takes over Fortitude Valley over 2 nights and 12 stages this year from September 11-12. The full line-up reads as follows:
