Fast becoming the Southern Hemisphere's premier festival for new music, BIGSOUND brings together the decision-makes from around the world with musicians from across the country to form bonds and discover tomorrow's new talent.
A breeding ground for international successes like Courtney Barnett, Flume, Seth Sentry, The Temper Trap and many more, the Brisbane-based buzz hosts 140 bands over 2 nights in 14 venues around Fortitude Valley. Held in September each year, the unique festival is party-central for audio-loves, makers and producers to network with other industry creatives.

Unveiling the first line-up of creatives hoping to strike that next big record deal, the announcement reaches a broad spectrum genres and is a mix of artists – so the average punter is going to have just as good of a time as the high-flying record signers.
Dropping Stonefield, Muscles, Gang of Youths, Holy Holy, Katy Steele, City Calm Down, Grenadiers, Ayla, Jesse Davidson, Cosmic Psychos, High Tension, The John Steel Singers, and many more into the Valley for a few days, BIGSOUND 2015 is going to be one hell of a celebration.

Some of the artists in the announce are already hitting it big internationally, gracing stages at Glastonbury and SxSW and being hyped up by NME and Pitckfork, while others will showcase their talents for the first time on a national stage.
Unveiling a major industry speaker/ buyer line-up in early May with the likes of Peter Garrett, Brother Alie, Paul Buck, Ben O'Connor, Josh Moorem, Lorrae McKenna and many more, the musical talents are on par for a great blend this year. And there are still more to come!
