One of Australia's more unique music festival, outback Queensland event Big Red Bash are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and the Federal Government's response to the crisis.
Festival Director Greg Donovan hopes the regional gathering in the Simpson Desert that attracts 10,000 revellers, slated to occur 7-9 July, will go ahead. "We'll make a decision about whether or not the event is going ahead by the 24th of April at the latest," Greg says in a statement released via social media."If the Bash doesn't go ahead this year all of the artists on the 2020 line-up will be back in 2021 and your 2020 ticket would become valid for 2021.
"If you are unable or don't wish to attend in 2021 you could request a refund, which would be provided.
"Please check Facebook, your email and the website regularly for updates from our team."
Paul Kelly is scheduled to headline 2020 Red Big Bash alongside a line-up that also features the likes of Ian Moss, Tim Finn, John Williamson, Kate Ceberano, Thirsty Merc and Shannon Noll.
