Big Pineapple Festival 2024 Line-up

L-R top to bottom: Tones And I, Peking Duk, The Amity Affliction, Vera Blue
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After a three-year, self-imposed hiatus, Big Pineapple Festival returns in 2024 with a line-up sizzling with top-shelf national talent and a stack of emerging names destined to be festival favourites on 19 October.

Situated in the picturesque surrounds of Pineapple Fields in Woombye, in the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Big Pineapple Festival brings the big beats, rockin' riffs and indie feels alongside a stack of non-music bentertainment.

Set to headline with a rare live performance will be Australian metalcore, post-hardcore legends The Amity Affliction bringing all their hits plus select cuts from their 2023 album, the ARIA Award-nominated 'Not Without My Ghosts'.

A certified pop star, Tones And I will return to the place she had her very first festival performance (in 2019) when the 'Dance Monkey', 'Fly Away' and 'Never Seen The Rain' hitmaker returns to the Big Pineapple Festival.

The party will really be ignited when hip hop OGs Bliss N Eso ('Moments', 'Addicted', 'Tear The Roof Off' and 'Act Yo Age') bring the onstage energy alongside dance floor legends Golden Features ('Touch', 'Paradise') and Peking Duk ('High', 'Fire' and 'Stranger').

Bringing the indie class will be singer-songwriter Vera Blue with a bagful of hits ('Rushing Back', 'Regular Touch', 'Hold'), while party punks Dune Rats will deliver a special DJ set.

Other highlights of the line-up include Thornhill, The Dreggs, Drax Project, SLUMBERJACK, Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Ocean Grove, Kinder, South Summit, and No Money Enterprise.

Michael Healy, Minister for Tourism and Sport expressed his support. "It's great to see the iconic and multi-award-winning Big Pineapple Festival return to Queensland's events calendar in 2024.

"The Queensland Government is proud to support the festival as part of our commitment to a strong local events programme, particularly at a time when the sector has been struggling.

"The festival also provides Queensland and Australian acts the opportunity to perform at the iconic Big Pineapple Fields on the Sunshine Coast, helping also to sustain artists and the local supply chains."

Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli also shared her enthusiasm. "This is a spectacular event and drawcard for festival-goers to come to the Sunshine Coast."

Aside from the music line-up, Big Pineapple Festival will also offer a stack of other entertainment including the World Eats and Beats area, the Lantern Parade, the annual Best Dressed at the Fest, the BPF Skate Jam (where some of Australia’s best skaters will showcase their skills), and The Great Australian Pineapple Toss competition. While the Burlesque L'amour will make their festival debut, offering a captivating and empowering dance performance with dazzling costumes and routines.

Tickets on sale from 8am (local time) on 11 July.

Big Pineapple Festival takes place at Pineapple Fields (Sunshine Coast) on 19 October.
