Music and camping festival Beyond The Valley has unveiled its most expansive collection of artists to date, in the 2024 line-up.
The ninth edition of Beyond The Valley (BTV) is looking to be something special, featuring a number of acts from overseas and our own backyard. It’s a world of creativity and community, including of course live music, podcasts, drag bingo, swimming pools, hidden parties and more.
Following his biggest year of international touring yet, GRAMMY nominated Gold Coast sensation FISHER returns to home soil. Plus, the American drill queen with a pop twist, Ice Spice, is one of an exciting contingent of international artists playing the festival – after breaking out with her TikTok viral 2022 song ‘Munch (Feelin’ U)’ and collaborating with the likes of Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress and Taylor Swift.
British drum ’n’ bass duo Chase & Status have experienced a second coming in recent years. They’ve dropped a string of huge singles like ‘Disconnect’ with Becky Hill, ‘Baddadan’, and more recently ‘Backbone’ with Stormzy, earning Chase & Status their first UK #1.
Also heading to BTV is Berlin DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance, with his string of hit singles like ‘It’s That Time’ and ‘Call Me’.
Looking for someone to match her freak is acclaimed and prolific singer-songwriter Tinashe. She recently secured her first solo Billboard Hot 100 single ‘Nasty’, which is the lead from her freshly-dropped album ‘Quantum Baby’.
Iconic British girl band Sugababes are headed our way for BTV – they’ve got six UK #1 singles, millions of global sales, and multiple multi-platinum albums. It all started with one song, three voices and a mysterious white label 7”.
The 2000s nostalgia doesn’t stop there – GRAMMY winning Natasha Bedingfield will bring a whopping dose to BTV, known for smash hits like ‘Unwritten’ and ‘These Words’.
Supremely talented Sydney duo Royel Otis emerged with the breakout single ‘Oysters In My Pocket’ in 2022. They’ve since been scaling new heights just two years on, with multiple globally charting singles and viral covers of Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ and ‘Linger’ by The Cranberries.
UK garage sensation Sammy Virji will return down under for Beyond The Valley, off the back of his biggest Australian headline tour to date earlier this year.
On the live music front, Valley Stage artists include Confidence Man, Teenage Dads, NEIL FRANCES, Lola Young, Ghetts, The Rions, BARKAA, Kita Alexander, The Grogans, Billie Marten, The Terrys, Sycco and more.
Plus, for all the electro-heads out there – there’s a selection of acts like horsegiirL, KI/KI, DJ BORING, SG Lewis, JOY (Anonymous), Tinlicker (Dj Set), Ben Hemsley, Avalon Emerson, Sam Alfred, Sally C, LB aka Labat, Chloé Caillet, Flowdan & Neffa-T and more.
Tickets are on sale 29 August at 12pm AEST.
Beyond The Valley 2024 takes place at Barunah Plains, Wentworths Road, Hesse (Victoria) 28 December-1 January.
