English singer-songwriter Beth Orton returns to Australia this year.
Some six years since her last shows down under, the 'Stolen Car' and 'She Cries Your Name' artist will be joined by her full band for headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in November.The Brit Award winner and Mercury Prize nominee recently played Glastonbury (a performance The Guardian described as 'excellent') and Primavera as well as wrapping up European tour dates with The War On Drugs.
Last year, Orton released her eighth studio album, 'Weather Alive', a record she self-produced from her London home studio working with a number of collaborators, including jazz poet Alabaster dePlume, The Smile drummer Tom Skinner, multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily, and Mercury Prize-nominated bassist Tom Herbert of The Invisible.
Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 21 August.
