Belle and Sebastian

Indie darlings and stalwarts of the twee-pop scene for 30-plus years, Scottish legends Belle and Sebastian return to Australia in 2026.

Set to land in September, with concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, the band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their sophomore album 'If You're Feeling Sinister'.

"📣 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA... was there ever any doubt? 🇦🇺 📣 We'll be heading your way in September and performing 'If You're Feeling Sinister' + a set of your favourite B&S hits across four shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth! We can't wait to bring the tour down under!"

Considered pioneers of the twee pop genre, the band became known for their intricate, '60s-inspired arrangements.

With their charming, nostalgic sound characterised by frontman Stuart Murdoch's introspective lyrics, the band offered an alternative to the bravado of Britpop.

Released just months after their debut LP, 'Tigermilk', 'If You're Feeling Sinister' was the group's first on indie label Jeepster Records, who were the first to sign the Glaswegian band releasing a number of their earlier albums and EPs.

With a number of publications labelling 'If You're Feeling Sinister' as one of the best albums of the '90s, the LP has grown to become a cult favourite, with tracks like 'Get Me Away From Here, I'm Dying', 'Like Dylan In The Movies', 'Seeing Other People', and 'Judy And The Dream Of Horses'.

Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 13 February.
