A prolific soundtrack composer, whose work is synonymous with some of the biggest titles of the last 20 years, Bear McCreary will tour Australia in 2025.
The Grammy Award–nominated, Emmy and BAFTA Award–winning composer-artist will headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth in July performing selections from his iconic scores along with music from his rock concept album 'The Singularity'.McCreary has soundtracked the video game 'God Of War' as well as Prime Video's 'The Lord of The Rings: The Rings Of Power', alongside fabled TV series like 'Battlestar Galactica', 'The Walking Dead', 'Outlander', 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', 'Snowpiercer' and 'Percy Jackson And The Olympians'. He also wrote the theme music for 'Halo'.
'The Singularity' album features an all-star line-up of vocal talent and musicians, including Serj Tankian (System Of A Down), Rufus Wainwright, Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Slash, Joe Satriani, and more.
"After celebrating the twentieth anniversary of my first screen credit, for composing the music to 2004's 'Battlestar Galactica', along with the release of my debut rock record, 'The Singularity', the time has finally come to take my music on the road," McCreary says.
"I am thrilled to perform highlights from throughout my career and visit some of my favourite cities in the world. I look forward to connecting with fans and bringing my music to bombastic life on the concert stage. Let's go!"
