Beachlife 2014 will run from January 4-5 at Surfers Paradise. 12 lifeguards, 40 police officers and 120 security guards are expected to be at the event – which, given the police presence on the Gold Coast recently, shouldn't be a major change. The festival is expected to draw in over 20,000 people over the weekend. Beachlife is a 16+ event.
