'Be Alright' Musician Dean Lewis Returns With New Music

Dean Lewis' new single is titled '7 Minutes'.
National Music Editor, based in Brisbane, Australia.
'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

With a staggering billion streams of his music globally, Dean Lewis is the superstar musician you really need to add to your next playlist - if you haven't already.

Still fresh from a recent, sold-out national tour and with his debut album simmering, near boiling point ahead of a release very, very soon, Dean is back with a new single, '7 Minutes'.

Conceived in a London taxi after a disagreement with a girl, the song is an upbeat anthem despite its subject matter.

"The song is about meeting someone," Dean says, "making memories and then feeling regret." Snap.

The song has quickly become a fan favourite during Dean's recent run of live shows. '7 Minutes' is the follow-up single to Dean's most recent release 'Be Alright', which ARIA recently revealed was the second highest-selling single from an Australian artist in 2018. Winning days Dean.

Dean heads to the US and Canada in February for his first North American headlining tour.
