A staple of Darwin's entertainment calendar, BASSINTHEGRASS returns in 2021 for its 18th edition with a line-up so sizzling you'll be salivating at the prospect of a Top End escape next autumn.
After attracting 10,000 punters in 2019, BASSINTHEGRASS 2021 will converge on Mindil Beach Saturday 15 May featuring two stages of stacked talent.
A mix of pop, rock and electronic, the all Aussie line-up is fronted by Illy, Ocean Alley, Missy Higgins, DMA'S, Violent Soho, Chillinit and Hayden James.
Not to mention G Flip, Lime Cordiale, Peking Duk, Thelma Plum, SAFIA, The Jungle Giants, Jack River and Boo Seeka. Told you it was stacked.
"It's been such a long time between shows and this will be our first time in the Northern Territory," The Jungle Giants lead guitarist, Cesira Aitken says.
"It'll be a special time after such a weird year. We can't wait."
BASSINTHEGRASS veterans, Sydney electro-pop duo Boo Seeka are thrilled to be heading to Darwin again. "It's easily one of our favourite festivals," Michael May says.
"Darwin is such an awesome place and we're both really looking forward to playing for fans at Mindil Beach next year in May."
If you're already eyeing off a trip north as the months trend cooler next month, the Northern Territory's abundance of sun, sand and good vibes is your ideal holiday buddy.
"BASSINTHEGRASS is the perfect excuse to start planning your Territory adventure," Northern Territory Major Events Company CEO Tim Watsford says.
