He's a Beatport and ARIA chart topper, the boss of two labels, a successful pop songwriter and one of the best DJs on the festival circuit — but we haven't seen him in a while.
Bass Kleph — aka Stu Tyson — has toured the US four times since 2011, and played his first gig in the mainroom of Ministry in the UK in that same timeframe. The Vacation Records and Exit Row founder has collaborated with Wolfgang Gartner, Micky Slim and Mowgli, helped break the likes of Hook N Sling, Stupid Fresh, Twocker, Tommy Trash, fRew and Dopamine, and counts Crookers and Kissy Sell Out amongst his fans.
In many ways, then, Bass Kleph's influence in Australia has been inescapable, but he hasn't actually done a full scale tour of his homeland since 2011. That's about to change.
