A New Year's Day party featuring a string of electronic legends, NYD 2024 'Day One' Reverence will host an intimate experience to kickstart your new year in Sydney.
Basement Jaxx will be in DJ mode showcasing a diverse set of house, garage, latin jazz and ambient techno beats when they headline alongside a DJ set from Faithless' Sister Bliss.Faithless' anthemic hits like 'Insomnia', 'Reverence', 'God Is A DJ' and 'We Come 1' remain club anthems 25-plus years later.
The line-up also features an OG of the UK drum n bass scene, with the owner of the Good Looking and Looking Good stable of labels LTJ Bukem plugging in for a set ranging from Detroit-based techno, jazz fusion and breakbeat-based house music vibes.
NYD 2024 'Day One' Reverence will also welcome one of the pioneers of the '90s breakbeat scene Plump DJs (who were residents at Fabric Nightclub in London for ten years).
Another veteran of the UK's jungle, drum n bass scene in the '90s-'00s and co-founder of Valve Recordings, Dillinja ('Tear Off Your Chest', 'Deadly Deep Subs' and 'Sovereign Melody') rounds out the line-up, with more acts to be announced.
Tickets on sale from 8am (local time) on 23 August.
NYD 2024 'Day One' Reverence will be staged at Greenwood Hotel and Bar Four Hundred (Sydney) 1 January, 2024 (1-11pm).
