A newcomer to the music festival scene in 2019 when Ocean Alley, Illy, and Tones and I headlined, Shepparton's all-ages event Land Of Plenty returns in 2021 for another massive day of live music and festival hangs with your besties (30 October).
The first artist announce has just dropped and it's headlined by Ball Park Music, fresh off landing at #4 in the Hottest 100 for the joyous 'Cherub', as well as festival regulars and party hip hop enthusiasts Thundamentals.G Flip – who also had a great Hottest 100 with three songs placing including 'Hyperfine' at #7 – joins the Land Of Plenty party as do emerging indie favourites Thornhill and Birdz plus Unearthed High winners Teenage Joans.
There are still more artists to be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned.
Respected Yorta Yorta artist DRMNGNOW will curate a special, event-specific performance BAIYIYA GARRA presented by STILL HERE focused on themes of 'woka' (country) and providing an Indigenous platform featuring emerging Yorta Yorta and other First Peoples special guest artists.
There'll also be a stack of food trucks plus art installations and heaps more to keep you entertained throughout the day.
"Following a challenging 12 months for everyone we really want fans, music lovers and festival goers to have something exciting to look forward to," Land Of Plenty says.
"It's great to see outdoor live music starting to make a return to Victoria and if things keep heading in the right direction Land Of Plenty will go ahead on Saturday 30 October and we can't wait to welcome everyone to Shepparton for another day of music, dancing and fun times."
