Hip hop diva Azealia Banks continues to burn bridges at a comically fast pace.
Her latest showdown is with Disclosure — who, let's face it, probably aren't all that fussed about it. In an interview with the AU Review, Banks has revealed that she's scrapped her collaboration with the UK duo, which was set to appear on her forever-forthcoming debut LP, Broke With Expensive Taste. "I did something with Disclosure," she confirmed, "but they were like, really rude in an interview, so I canned it."
Moving straight past the balls-out hypocrisy of Banks taking offence at someone else for being "rude in an interview", Banks went on to add: "I might leak it, though. And to be honest, I've got better stuff on my record... It can be an f-side. A fuck-you side."
(If you're wondering what Disclosure said that was so shocking, it all goes back to an interview they gave after Banks tweeted that they'd had "the greatest studio session EVAR". Disclosure responded: "We don't have a song with her yet. We've met her once. I think she's kind of taken to Twitter quite heavily with the fact that she's meeting with us. And people now think that we've made the greatest song of all time, and it doesn't even actually have a chorus yet. All these blogs think we've now made a masterpiece, but really, we just sat there eating sushi.")
Banks' latest drama follows her performance at the Listen Out festival in Sydney on the weekend, where she walked off the stage after a punter threw a can at her (which, to be fair, was a total dick move on the punter's part).
