Australasian Worldwide Music Expo will showcase Melbourne’s biggest line-up of the finest roots music across three days and nights in November.
AWME will be jam-packed with music industry speakers, a broad conference programme of national and international music industry professionals and an amazing array of live musical talent.
The first round of artists for the live music program, representing an eclectic mix of acts includes:

- renaissance man and enigmatic showman, Henry Wagons & the Only Children
- tour de force of funk and soul Emma Donovan & the Putbacks
- revival analog-era Latin music greats Quarter Street

- R&B/neo-soul sensation Ngaiire
- Australia’s stylish alt-country act Ruby Boots
- the didgeridoo-infused electronic/dub group OKA
- the bass-heavy roots-raisers Kingfisha
- enigmatic troubadour Archer, and
- internationally recognised, multi-talented guitarist and songwriter Thomas Oliver
AWME not only presents a strong public festival event, but also creates a platform for showcasing musicians from around Australia and across the region to meet with music industry representatives from around the world.
In the last few years, AWME showcases and networking sessions directly resulted in new opportunities for artists in the areas of touring, festival engagements, performances, media coverage, recording, publishing and other career-building activities.
A diverse range of industry speakers will be announced inb the coming weeks.
The 8th AWME 2015 will take place from 12th – 14th November at Arts Centre Melbourne, Max Watts, Shebeen, The Toff, Ding Dong and Lounge.
