Australia's first all-female and LGBTQ+ inclusive booking agency, Alpha Booking Agency have opened their doors with a mission to support, empower and navigate a successful careers for women in music.
The company, which employs all female agents, is the brainchild Kailei Ginman, who has been working within the Australian music industry since 2007.
Alpha Booking Agency is not only run by and for females and fem-identifying people, but will also be working closely with women's and LGBTQ+ community charities.
“Our goal is to see social change, not only for women in music, but for women in Australia and globally,” Kailei says. The agency will work to deliver talent to corporate and private events, nightclubs, festivals and venue launches.
Australian DJs Ayebatonye, Feline, Rosie Kate, Sara T, Stacie Fields and Stara are already on the roster, Kailei having worked closely with electronic acts during her stint as a booking agent at Ministry Of Sound.
Kailei has been working towards building Alpha Booking Agency since 2016, when she began to recognise the need for an agency that understands and protects the needs of women in touring, and which worked towards nurturing long and successful careers.
