AusMusic T-Shirt Day Returns To Celebrate Those Behind-The-Scenes Powering Australia’s Music Industry

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

AusMusic T-Shirt Day (AMTD) is back this November, featuring an all-star ambassador line-up, and a rallying cry to celebrate the road crews, managers, and behind-the-scenes workers powering Australia’s music industry.

AMTD has become a nationwide cultural moment. It’s a day where music lovers across the country wear their favourite Aussie music act proudly – snapping a pic and flooding their feeds with support for those who make live music possible. Every shirt worn, and every dollar donated fuels Support Act’s vital programmes, turning a simple t-shirt into a powerful statement of solidarity.

This year’s ambassadors are The Kid LAROI, Jessica Mauboy, Troy Cassar-Daley, Missy Higgins, Bernard Fanning, Hilltop Hoods, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Hoodoo Gurus. . . Alongside rising artists including Lane Pittman, The Buoys, Party Dozen, C.O.F.F.I.N, and Floodlights.

Plus, the 2025 Limited Edition collection pairs ambassadors with leading visual artists, to create collectible designs reflecting the depth and diversity of our music culture.

There’s a collaboration between The Kid LAROI and Gumbaynggirr woman and artist Aretha Brown. . . As well as Missy Higgins’ illustrated shirt created from a photo reimagined into an artwork.

“This year, it feels like AMTD has exploded forward,” Support Act CEO Clive Miller says. “Building on the incredible support from all parts of the music industry over many years, it has become a cultural moment, and we’re calling on the Australian public to join the momentum, to celebrate and to help fundraise for all the legends who show up for AusMusic every single day, but who need our support when times are tough.”

By preordering a 2025 AusMusic T-Shirt, making a donation, or fundraising with your mates, you’ll be helping Support Act deliver crisis relief, mental health support, and wellbeing programmes for music workers doing it tough.
