At The Drive In To Tour Australia, Again

At The Drive In
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

It's the news many At The Drive In Australian fans had been waiting for, and fearing would never arrive.

The El Paso punk rockers are headed back down under with a string of east coast shows this September.

With new music that NME describe as: 'This feels like At The Drive In circa 2000; volatile and raw, stark and memorable', Cedric Bixler, Omar Ropdriguez and crew last year blew in mid-year to play an epic set at Splendour In The Grass and two intimate (for them) shows in Sydney and Melbourne that sold out instantly.

‘Governed By Contagions’ was released in December last year, the first taste of what to expect from the band’s fourth studio record ‘in • ter a • li • a’ (to be released 5 May), coming 17 years after the release of 2000’s seminal LP ‘Relationship of Command’.

In February they dropped second single, ‘Incurably Innocent’.

At The Drive In are back, doing what they do best: rewriting all the rules. Be warned, their last tour sold out in hours.
