Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After a four year hiatus, Electric Gardens returns in 2024.

The event returns to the festival landscape with a one-stage, open-air experience across the Easter long weekend in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The line-up features some great house and progressive electronic DJs and producers.

Between 2016 and 2020, Electric Gardens has toured some massive house music artists like Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Cirez D’s, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, Basement Jaxx, Sigma, Patrick Topping, Eats Everything and more.

Getting things started for 2024 is prolific DJ/producer Armand Van Helden, with an extensive list of hits under his belt like ‘You Don’t Know Me’, ‘My, My, My’, ‘Hear My Name’, ‘I Want Your Soul’, ‘Bonkers’ and more. Plus, there’s his and A-Trak’s Duck Sauce project with tracks like ‘Barbra Streisand’, ‘aNYway’, ‘Big Bad Wolf’ and ’NRG’.

The S-Man himself, Roger Sanchez returns, after thrilling Australian audiences earlier this year. From humble beginnings in NYC, to multi-year residencies in Ibiza. . . Roger is a self-made dance music star with hits including ‘Another Chance’, ‘Lost’, ‘Turn On The Music’ and ‘You Can’t Change Me’. His remix discography reads like a who’s who of the international music scene.

Four-time IDMA and DJ Awards winner and GRAMMY Award nominee Sasha returns to Australia this March, known as part of the iconic duo Sasha & John Digweed, he has toured the globe numerous times, and for his remixes for artists like Madonna, Moby, The Chemical Brothers and Hot Chip.

Franky Wah’s breakthrough began with ‘Change My Mind’, following by ‘Get Me High’. By January of 2019, ‘Get Me High’ had spread like wildfire, making it to the #1 spot of Beatport’s Top 100. The follow-up, ‘Words’, was signed to Ministry Of Sound and achieved equal success. Recently Franky’s linked up with Jessie Ware on a track called ‘Time After Time’. Each release has made its way into the top five of Radio 1’s Dance Chart.

“We’ve sat on the bench since the pandemic, but now it’s time,” T1000 Events Promoter Damian Gelle says. “We’ve always had a unique offering and I’m once again thrilled to be presenting some of the world’s greatest DJs across multiple states in unique settings.”

Tickets are on sale 7 December.
