One of global music's hottest names, rising star Arlo Parks is headed to Australia for the very first time with an east-coast tour planned next winter.
The winner of the 2021 Mercury Prize, Arlo released her debut album 'Collapsed In Sunbeams' at the start of the year – the record features the hit singles 'Eugene', 'Black Dog' and 'Hurt'.The English indie pop-folk singer-songwriter has also received two Grammy nominations – for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album.
"Tears, tears, tears. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you," Arlo posted to her socials about the noms.
It's not just music fans who are enamoured with Arlo. "Arlo Parks is sooo cool. I love Arlo," says Billie Eilish.
Adds Phoebe Bridgers: "She's an incredible poet." While Florence Welch sums up what we're all thinking about Arlo in one word: "Obsessed."
