Architects Australia 2025 Tour

Architects
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

Fresh from playing a trio of shows with Linkin Park, English metalcore heavyweights Architects return to Australia late 2025.

As they're about to unleash on their North American tour, the 'Animals' and 'Doomsday' hitmakers will headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane early December. "Australia – we can't wait to see you! Joined by our friends House Of Protection and President."

Earlier this year, Architects released their 11th studio album, 'The Sky, The Earth And All Between' (that debuted in the ARIA album charts top 10), which was produced with ex Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish.

A record that shifts between aggressive, melodic, and experimental sounds, the album features new fan favourites like 'Seeing Red', 'Curse', 'Blackhole' and 'Whiplash'.

"It wasn't about just putting out another Architects record. It had to be the record – the one people talk about when they talk about our band," frontman Sam Carter says.

Bandmate Dan Searle echoes this sentiment: "What we're trying to say is that we had to make the quintessential Architects album – bringing together all our best qualities and everything we excel at.

"Some songs are tongue-in-cheek and came more naturally to me, like 'Whiplash', 'Braindead' and 'Judgement Day' because they're writing about what most of us can plainly see – but others are so sincere and full of pain," Searle adds.

"I don't tend to share how I feel with those around me, so to do so in the songs is always uncomfortable for me. There were times I questioned if I really meant what I was saying. Then I'd listen while in pain, and it all made sense."

Named as one of Spotify's Artists To Watch in 2025, House Of Protection was born from the collision of post-hardcore pedigree and fearless genre experimentation. They've ignited a new era of art-rock intensity and are redefining what LA's heavy scene sounds and feels like in 2025.

Operating at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere, PRESIDENT doesn't conform to the traditional structures of genre or identity. They prioritise intent over image, shifting the spotlight away from those who have created this movement, firmly onto the music itself.

Tickets on sale from 12pm (local time) on 21 July.
