'Geronimo' has won the APRA for Most Played Australian Work.
The Brisbane, now global, pop band Sheppard scored two APRAs at last night's gong-fest in Sydney; the other being for Pop Work Of The Year, also for Geronimo.
It's the second year runing they've been nominated for Album Of The Year and the third consecutive year that Sia has taken the honour. Both Sheppard and Sia accepted thie awards via video — Sia again apparently unable to front a pre-recorded camera to say something pleasant for 10 seconds — yawn — asking Pete Wentz to accept on her behalf.
Former CEO of Albert Music, Fifa Riccobono was awarded the 'Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music' for 40 years service, whle siblings Angus and Julia Stone won Blues & Roots Work of the Year with Heart Beats Slow.
