A celebration of the ocean, community culture, surfing and music, travelling festival The Drop have revealed their 2019 music programme headlined by Angus & Julia Stone. Aloha.
Now entering its second year, The Drop 2019 will also feature two new locations and promotes 'a lifestyle of good food, art, family fun and community culture to be enjoyed with your favourite people'.
'Chateau' and 'Big Jet Plane' legends Angus & Julia Stone will be joined by electric-dance wunderkinds Client Liaison who'll be pumping out vibrant, dancefloor feels.
Surf-rock dudes Hockey Dad will perform their bright, noisy material alongside indie-pop four-piece The Jungle Giants with their light, approachable licks.
While Alex The Astronaut will be singing her thoughtful and intimate tracks. The Newcastle leg will feature Ball Park Music, who will fill slot of The Jungle Giants.
The festivals will take place on the first weekend of each of the three WSL Championship Tour events in Australia, as well as WSL Qualifying Series events Surfest Newcastle and the Vissla Sydney Surf Pro.
