Brother-sister duo Angus & Julia Stone make their way to Falls Festival in a pre-emptive strike for their upcoming national tour next year.
The pair released 'Snow', their fourth album, in September and Angus says the response so far from audiences around the world has been extremely positive.
“It's been wild, from all the shows in Australia to around Europe and now we're in The States. It's all been absolutely amazing,” Angus says.
"We love Falls Festival." - Angus Stone
“Everyone that comes up after the shows who has had the record for the past two months [since] we released it, they are all very generous with sharing their stories of how already they've had a nice connection with the album.
"We feel very humbled by that and we feel so lucky to be doing what we're doing.”

Angus & Julia Stone make their return to the Falls Festival stage at the end of this year, joining a stellar line-up of Australian and international artists for the festival's 25th anniversary celebrations. “We love Falls,” Angus says.
“Before I played music I'd go there anyway, so it's nice to be able to be up on stage and to play in front of Australian audiences. The festivals in Australia are pretty unique and there's a lot of camaraderie and really nice energy.”
Also on the Falls bill this year for their silver jubilee are Flume, Fleet Foxes, Run The Jewels, The Kooks, Confidence Man and Liam Gallagher, to name a few.
Angus says both he and Julia are excited and proud to be part of the line-up that marks such a significant milestone for Falls Festival. “Falls have always pulled in some pretty special acts,” he says.
“Every time we've played we've always been pretty humbled by who we see on the bill. It's pretty cool.”
After Falls and a quick break at the beginning of the New Year, Angus and Julia will set out on an Australian album tour for 'Snow' in April/ May.

They'll be playing in capital cities and regional centres, with plans for a more extensive run. “We don't know as of yet, but a little birdy told me we'll probably be moving into a lot of regional dates, but we don't know just yet,” he says.
“We're waiting to see what happens. We want to go more places but because we're moving around so much we have to be quite time-conscious.”
Outside of his double act with Julia, Angus has been working on a side project of his own entitled Dope Lemon.
Last year he released the debut album for Dope Lemon, 'Honey Bones' and assures fans there is still more to come. “Obviously it falls off the burner a bit when you move into another project, but it will always be there,'” he says.
“It's something that was really electric; the feeling and the response we got back from it was so cool. Australia really kicked into gear for Dope Lemon; the two records we made for it, to me, felt like we opened up a whole new thing with what we do... It's a home away from home.”
