As New South Wales continues to reopen after months of lockdown, Bluesfest have added more talent to their stacked 2022 line-up of Aussie-NZ talent with Amy Shark, Stan Walker and Casey Barnes among the new additions to a bill that now has 82 artists confirmed.

Already featuring the likes of Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly, The Teskey Brothers, Missy Higgins, Kasey Chambers, Six60, Fat Freddy's Drop, John Butler and Xavier Rudd, Amy, Stan and Casey are joined by Kevin Borich Express, Lachy Doley & The Horns Of Conviction, Lisa Hunt's Forever Soul, Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers, and Hat Fitz & Cara.

"A dream I've wanted for a long time; see you at Bluesfest Byron Bay 2022!" beams Amy Shark.

Adds Casey Barnes: "Some MASSIVE news to share with you guys and one to tick off the bucket list.

"I am beyond thrilled to announce that I'll be joining the 2022 Bluesfest line-up.

"One of the country's most iconic festivals and I'll proudly be waving the flag for Aussie country when we hit Byron Bay next April."

Bluesfest 2022 will see more than 130 performances across the event's five days (14-18 April).

Multiple ARIA nominee and five-time New Zealand Music Awards winner, Australian-born Stan Walker is amped to be added to a festival that he has a strong connection to.

"Stoked to announce that I will be playing at Bluesfest Byron Bay 2022. This was my very first gig and festival when I was 16 still at Byron High School.

"Ever since then I've always wanted get back to and okay there. . . 15 years later we awn baybeeee.

"Just gonna be awesome going back 'home' where I grew up in Australia. Byron Bay will always have a piece of my heart and be home for me.

"Straight uuup Byron has the best kebabs, chicken mornay pies, cheese & spinach rolls, vegan kai, beaches, best loooords, number 1 league team (Red Devils), best pub kai lol and best Ozzy festival since forever.

"I'm beyond excited. Bit of full circle moment for me. So I better come correct and bring the fire, fire."
