Amy Shark, Bliss N Eso, Missy Higgins, The Teskey Brothers & Heaps More Unite For Mushroom 50 Live Concert

Update - 14 November, 2023: The Mushroom 50 Live concert will feature exclusive recorded performances from alt-J, Ed Sheeran, and Garbage, while Youth Group will be joined by Budjerah, Mia Wray and Sam Smith, for a recorded performance of 'Forever Young'.

Legendary Australian band Goanna will also join the Mushroom 50 Live line-up, with the group to include four of the original members. While emerging artists WILSN, Lotte Gallagher and Logan will also join the concert.

The Mushroom 50 Live concert will also be broadcast across Australia exclusively on Channel 7 and 7plus from 7pm.

Part of the Mushroom Group's 50th anniversary celebrations, Mushroom 50 Live will witness some of the biggest names in Australian music join together for a one-off concert in Melbourne.

The likes of Amy Shark, Birds Of Tokyo, Bliss N Eso, Christine Anu, DMA'S, Frente, Jimmy Barnes, Kate Ceberano, Missy Higgins, Paul Kelly, The Rubens, The Temper Trap, The Teskey Brothers and others (with more talent still to be revealed) Mushroom 50 Live will see more than 20 homegrown artists and bands (representing multiple generations) performing 50 songs for 50 years.

The set list will feature a mix of originals and classic songs, hand-selected from the revered Mushroom catalogue including anthems such as 'Working Class Man', 'Holy Grail', 'Sweet Disposition', 'Riptide', 'Hoops', 'It's Only the Beginning', 'Before Too Long', and 'Living In The 70s', with plenty more to be revealed on the night.

"This is going to be an incredible once-in-a-lifetime night, to commemorate 50 years of great Mushroom music and Australian talent," Mushroom Group Chief Executive, Matt Gudinski says.

Tickets on sale from 3pm EDT on 18 October.

Mushroom 50 Live takes place at Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne) on 26 November.
