Australian pop artist Amy Shark returns with a national tour celebrating her upcoming third studio album, 'Sunday Sadness'.
The eight-time ARIA Award winner and 'Australian Idol' judge will headline concerts in Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth in October."I can't wait to get back on the road to see you all and bring this new record to life onstage," Amy says. "I'm really proud of this album and am so excited to perform it live, as well as all your favourite tracks. Counting down the days!"
Her first run of Australian shows since her massive 60-date regional tour in 2022, Shark has promoted 'Sunday Sadness' with three singles: 'Can I Shower At Yours', 'Beautiful Eyes' and 'Loving Me Lover'.
"My third album 'Sunday Sadness' comes out on August 16 [pre-order it]," posted Amy recently. "There's a different colour grade to the world on Sunday, it feels quieter.
"Ever since I was a little kid, I wasn't the biggest fan of Sundays. Nervous about school the next day, praying my Nan never dies, and I was usually getting dropped back at either my mum or dad's house to start the week.
"Only kids with divorced parents know the messy feeling of a backpack and constant odd socks. But the Sunday sadness didn't stop when I got older. . . I'm still that same kid on Sunday night, overthinking and feeling everything. This album is sick. Best I've ever done."
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 4 June.
