Alien Ant Farm & CKY Australia 2025 Tour

Alien Ant Farm (bottom) and CKY.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Calling all smooth criminals, with American alternative punk rockers Alien Ant Farm teaming with fellow hard rock veterans CKY for a co-headline Australian tour in 2025.

Both birthed from the late '90s alternative skate culture, the tour will land down under next February with concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

"AUSTRALIA! It's been a long time coming friends 👽🌐 🇦🇺🇿 Catch us with the iconic CKY this February 2025👾👾👾👾."

After their 2001 cover of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' made them a global brand, followed by their other classic hit 'Movies' (both of which still get played relentlessly by rock-punk DJs), Alien Ant Farm released a string of anthemic bangers including 'Wish', 'Glow', 'Courage', 'These Days' and 'Attitude'.

Relatively dormant with new music the last 15 years, aside from 2015 album 'Always And Forever' (which was removed from DSPs in 2024 with no reason given), Alien Ant Farm dropped their first album in almost a decade with 'Mantras' in April this year (it features the single 'Everything She Wants'.

For CKY, this will be their first Australian live dates in 12 years, and follows their successful North American and European 'CKY 25 Years' celebration touring.

A band who toured with the likes of Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Deftones, while artists as diverse as The Dead South, Polyphia and Dillon Francis have covered their songs, CKY played a massive role in the soundtrack to the infamous 'Jackass' series.

The current CKY line-up features original members drummer Jess Margera (brother to Jackass' Bam) and guitarist Chad I Ginsburg (who took over lead vocals in 2015) alongside touring bassist Ronnie Elvis James.

Earlier this year, Ginsburg revealed CKY's next album would be titled 'New Reason To Dream' and was in the mixing process; it's the follow-up to the band's 2017's record 'The Phoenix' – their first without former vocalist Deron Miller.

"I'm staying focused on good things, rock & roll, love and happiness," Ginsburg posted recently. "If you also care about those things, great! Then, we will see you at the CKY show! Can not f...ing wait‼️ Let's come together and f...ing rock! 💥This time better than ever 👊🤟."
