Update - 6 February, 2024: After last week's furore that led the NSW Premier to force a venue change, the Sydney leg of the 2024 Pandemonium festival on Anzac Day will now take place at Cathy Freeman Park in the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct.
"This concert has been six months in the planning and is one of many events, both cultural and sport, that are taking place across the country on April 25," Apex Entertainment CEO Andrew McManus says.
"It is disappointing that despite our best efforts to present the event in what we believe is an appropriate manner, there has been kickback from certain circles. This is not an Anzac Day concert, it is an event that is taking place on the public holiday of April 25th, as are many other events."
Pandemonium, which was announced last month, will donate $10 per ticket sold from the Sydney event to Wounded Heroes, with the organisation having a presence at the concert on the day.
Pandemonium gates will open 11.30am, with the event to feature a dozen bands across two stages. "We've put together a brilliant line-up of iconic rock & roll acts that is set to deliver an amazing day of music, no matter what the location."
All tickets already purchased for Pandemonium Sydney (previously at The Domain) are 100 per cent valid at Cathy Freeman Park at Sydney Olympic Park Precinct.

Led by the ageless glam-shock rocker Alice Cooper, American new-wave pioneers Blondie, the old-school rock & roll royalty of Deep Purple and '90s-2000s alternative rockers Placebo, the Pandemonium line-up will provide the ultimate soundtrack to our lives over the last half a century.The travelling festival will land in late April, with events to be staged in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane (Blondie will not appear at the Brisbane leg).
The Pandemonium line-up have created such iconic bangers as 'Schools Out', 'Poison', 'Call Me', 'One Way Or Another', 'Heart Of Glass', 'Smoke On The Water', 'Highway Star', 'Hush', 'Every You Every Me', 'Special Needs', 'Teenage Dirtbag', 'Love My Way', 'Pretty In Pink', 'Holiday In Cambodia', 'California Uber Alles', 'Damaged Goods', 'Joker And The Thief', 'Woman' and 'Baby, I'm Getting Better', plus sooo many more.
Teenage dirtbags Wheatus will join the action alongside English post-punk heroes The Psychedelic Furs and Gang Of Four, as well as one of punk's defining acts Americans Dead Kennedys.
Las Vegas art rockers Palaye Royale are also part of the bill joining Aussie acts Wolfmother, Cosmic Psychos and Gyroscope, as well as introducing Thai solo artist Petch. That's a dozen bands across two stages, busting out countless hits.
