Bluesfest in 2020 welcomes '90s icon Alanis Morissette to their expanding line-up, celebrating the 25th anniversary of her seminal album 'Jagged Little Pill'.
Released in 1995, 'Jagged Little Pill' features a handful of Alanis' best-known songs such as 'Ironic', 'You Oughta Know' and 'Hand In My Pocket'.
Since then, Alanis has become one of the most influential singer-songwriters in contemporary music, releasing a further nine albums and earning vast critical acclaim.
With insightful, often scathing, lyrics and a deeply expressive style, Alanis' music resonates with listeners across the generational spectrum. Such is the impact of 'Jagged Little Pill', in December 2019 a musical of the same name debuted on Broadway; currently, Alanis is working on new music for an album expected sometime this year.
The addition of Alanis Morissette to the 2020 Bluesfest roster is coupled with that of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocal powerhouse Tori Kelly.
