Alanis Morissette to play Bluesfest side shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.
Update - 18 February, 2020: Two additional shows have been added to Alanis Morissette's Australian tour; her first Melbourne concert (15 April) is sold out, with a second show confirmed for 14 April. Perth has also been added to the tour, with a concert slated for 18 April.

Already revealed earlier this month to be playing 2020 Bluesfest in Byron Bay, 'Jagged Little Pill' star Alanis Morissette is bringing her world tour (celebrating 25 years of her iconic album) to Sydney and Melbourne as well.

With seven Grammy awards to her name, Morissette has been a fierce force for more a quarter of a century.

Added to her legacy, she is an avid supporter of female empowerment, as well as spiritual, psychological and physical wellness with a monthly podcast – Conversation with Alanis Morissette – that features conversations with a variety of revered authors, doctors, educators, and therapists, covering a wide range of psychosocial topics extending from spirituality to developmentalism to art.

In December, Alanis released her most recent work 'Reasons I Drink', which is lifted from her forthcoming ninth studio album, 'Such Pretty Forks In The Road', that is set for release 1 May.

Special guest for the tour is Australian songwriter and performer, Julia Stone.
