Alongside making available early bird conference tickets, Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) have revealed its first international speakers for Indie-Con Australia Conference.

Set to return to Adelaide's Mercury Cinema from 31 July to 2 August, and with the complete 2024 programme and speakers to be announced in late June, the 2024 Indie-Con Australia conference will feature Ellie Rumbold (Partisan Records), Lisa Hresko (A2IM), Stuart Kennedy (ATC Live), Emmy Feldman (Heavy Duty), and Nicole Ficenec (Our Bad Habit).

"Our 2024 Indie-Con Australia conference will bring together industry and speakers from around the globe to talk about challenges and opportunities for the sector and will be followed by MusicSA's Scouted, showcasing emerging and unsigned talent from South Australia's music scene."

Indie-Con Australia Conference is staged alongside AIR's 2024 AIR Awards that recognise, promote, and celebrate the success of Australia's independent music sector.

The General Manager at A2IM (The American Association of Independent Music) Lisa Hresko works to ensure all A2IM members receive the highest level of education and community resources. Prior to A2IM, she spent nearly a ten-year tenure at CMJ during which time she held several positions including Editor-in-Chief.

After joining the music industry with an apprenticeship at Mute Records, Partisan Records' Product Manager Ellie Rumbold has run album campaigns for the likes of Goldfrapp, New Order, IDLES, Fontaines D.C., PJ Harvey, Laura Marling, Ezra Collective, and Beth Orton.

Emmy Feldman (Heavy Duty) brings experience working with the likes of Rough Trade Record Shops and Atlantic Records; at Heavy Duty she oversees and develops careers signing the likes of Grace Ives, Chris Coady, Dreamer Boy, Gabe Goodman, Wet, Puma Blue, and many more.
