Afrojack & Timmy Trumpet Headline The Arrival Of Don't Let Daddy Know In Australia

Afrojack headlines the inaugural Australian leg of Don't Let Daddy Know.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Famed Ibiza music festival Don't Let Daddy Know will make its debut in Australia this summer.

Since its very first event back in 2012, the electronic music festival has grown into a global phenomenon, with events staged in 20 countries. Now it's Aussie's turn with events scheduled for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in January.

Acclaimed Dutch DJ-producer Afrojack leads the way for the inaugural artist line-up, the WALL Recordings label owner one of the most in-demand EDM artists with collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, Pitbull, Will.i.am and many more.

The 'Hey Mama', 'Ten Feet Tall', 'Sad', 'Anywhere With You' and 'Hero' EDM icon will be joined by locally produced global trendsetter Timmy Trumpet who has amassed 2.5 billion-plus streams with such bangers as 'Freaks', 'Mad World', 'Party Till We Die' and 'Narco'.

The man know for coining the 'future rave' genre with close friend and collaborator David Guetta, Danish DJ Morten will also join the DLDK line-up.

A DJ who as graced the stages of some of the most prolific festivals in the world, and even took up residency with Guetta in Ibiza in 2022, Morten has been busy in 2023 releasing a string of singles: 'The Drill', 'Unforgettable', 'Lost In The Rhythm', 'All In' and 'Something To Hold On To'.

Dutch hardstyle duo Sub Zero Project also return to Australia for DLDK; they've also had a hectic 2023 including releasing 'Path Of The Warrior' – the Defqon.1 2023 anthem – as well as singles 'Illusions', 'Judgement Day', 'LFG Psycho' and 'The Race' (with Timmy Trumpet).

DLDK are also excited to be expanding the line-up with some incredible local talent, including RESTRICTED ('Big Jet Plane' remix), Dimatik (who has supported the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Hardwell), and Bobby Neon.

"TEG is thrilled to be bringing one of the world's premier EDM festivals to Australian shores," TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones says.

"Renowned for featuring some of the biggest and most influential artists in EDM, along with some very impressive production, Australian electronic music fans should definitely mark these dates in their calendar as it's sure to be the event of the Australian summer."
