Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is set to show a little faith with a symphonic spectacular showcase concert paying tribute to world pop star George Michael 30 years after the release of his iconic, debut solo album 'Faith'.

'George Michael: Listen To Your Heart' will be under the musical direction from maestro John Foreman, OAM. The orchestra will be joined on stage by a stellar line-up of Aussies including Hugh Sheridan, Rob Mills, Casey Donovan, Andrew De Silva and Bobby Fox.

ith 2017 marking 30 years since the release of 'Faith', the ASO will perform a 30-song extravagant production of Michael's greatest works from his heart-wrenching torch ballads to his sugary pop trifles.

Hugh Sheridan can’t wait to be back in his home town to perform this exciting showcase series concert. "George Michael was a maverick pop star, genius writer, with tonsils of gold, a subtle revolutionary, an unheralded philanthropist and a balladeer to make us burst.

"I had the good fortune to spend time with the George who used humility and humour as his first engagement with me and who shared his best insights into music without hesitation."

'George Michael: Listen To Your Heart' takes place at Festival Theatre (Adelaide) 15-16 February, 2018.
