Norman Jay, Aeroplane and Russ Dewbury will combine with three of Australia's most awarded chefs to ring in 2014 on the Harbour.
Paradise NYE will see the Overseas Passenger Terminal, arguably the best location on Sydney Harbour to witness the annual fireworks display, transform into a wonderland to welcome 2014 in style.
Palettes will be pleased by bespoke canapés crafted by renowned chefs Pete Evans, Adam D'Sylva and Justin North, while the sounds of internationally respected DJs Norman Jay MBE, Aeroplane and Russ Dewbury will set the sonic backdrop.
Taking place in the upper balcony area of Customs Hall, Paradise will offer direct views of the Harbour Bridge from its adjoining car park and balcony areas.
Russ Dewbury, the man behind the historical Brighton Jazz Rooms, will be entrusted with opening proceedings with his signature mix of jazz, tropical beats and vintage flavours; as the clock nears midnight, Italian-Belgian superstar Aeroplane will take to the decks for the second audible course. Then it'll be up to UK pioneer Norman Jay MBE to take Paradise NYE into the early hours of the new year with his funk, soul and disco DJ set.
Six courses of finely curated dishes will be served, cocktail style, throughout the course of the evening, courtesy of Pete Evans (The Pantry, Hugo's Manly, Little Hunter), Adam D'Sylva (CODA, Tonka) and Masterchef regular, former Bécasse owner and 2010 GQ Chef Of The Year Justin North.
