A Few Tips For What To Do When You're 'Feeling It All' Shared By Jet City Sports Club

Jet City Sports Club are an indie band from Sydney.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Sydney indie pop-rock band, Jet City Sports Club latest release is the emotional-laced burner 'Feeling It All'.

A song about the moments when you're pining for those you love dearly but can't be with, Jet City Sports Club again collaborated with producer Fletcher Matthews (Clews, Sweater Curse) with mastering by George Georgiadis (Debbies, The VANNS).

"'Feeling It All' is a song about the emotional roller coaster of missing somebody that you love," Jet City Sports Club says.

"Sometimes when you're missing somebody is when you love them the most and that's what makes being apart so difficult.

"Not to mention all the other emotional turmoil of life in general, it can be beautiful, poetic but also a little bit sad especially when you're feeling everything so deeply and personally.

"'Feeling It All' is a little bit of a different direction for us musically, leaning more towards pop, and we are nervous yet very excited about the change."

Recently supporting The Vanns, Hayley Mary and The Grogans, here each Jet City Sports Club member shares their advice for what to do the next time you're feeling it all.

Lilla: "Curl up into a ball on your bed and let it all out. Crying feels so good and after awhile, you look at yourself in the mirror and go 'damn, I'm an ugly crier', and that makes you stop crying, get up and feel so much lighter. Then put on some tunes and dance on the bed!

Jack: "Go for a drive and read by the beach."

Dom: "Either hug someone or have a beer depending on the situation. Or both?!"

Seb: "Put on a good album, like 'I Love You, Honeybear' by Father John Misty, and go for a bike ride.

Jet City Sports Club play Jervis Bay Brewery (South Coast) 10 December and The NYE Jamboree (joining Andy Golledge Band, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys and others) at Marrickville Bowling & Recreation Club (Sydney) 31 December.
