With summer in full swing and just enough time to get over your NYE hangover, WA's own End Of Fashion is bringing in 2022 with a true home-town rock show.
Alongside local legends Ashes Of Autumn and Electric State, End Of Fashion invite you for a beer at Perth's Rosemount Hotel (8 January) – a boogie and head bang are optional but highly recommended.Let's celebrate the world opening up as we all head into 2022 together. This night is going to be flat out, joyous, celebratory fun with just enough madness thrown in to make it memorable.
Here, EOF frontman Justin disconnects from his wi-fi for a moment to share his favourite YouTube channels.
1: That Chapter
True crime with a big ol' dose of Irish charm. Host, Mike keeps his tongue planted firmly in cheek while presenting some of the most unusual, horrific and sometimes heartbreaking cases of murder and mystery this crazy world has to offer. Highly recommend you have a go.2: Charlotte Dobre
There's a bazillion reaction channels out there, but Charlotte's low-key Canadian delivery is always funny without being over the top.She covers everything from bridezillas, entitled Karens, funniest social media comments and so much more with snappy editing that always leaves me chuckling.
3: Friendly Jordies
He's a homegrown hero who's amassed a huge following over the past few years and for good reason. Jordie pulls no punches in his Aussie political commentary and although it's landed him in some hot water, it's heartening to see so many people engaged and taking an interest in how their country is being run.I've been watching for years, so you can imagine my delighted surprise when we were mentioned by name in an episode.
4: Critical Drinker
I love films and follow a bunch of film review channels, but none as religiously as Critical Drinker. He's a self-effacing Scotsman with attitude and a honed sense of film language. While he's never pretentious or highbrow, his critiques and observations are always eloquent, justified and very, very funny.
5: Answers With Joe
It takes enormous skill to communicate big concepts and ideas in a relatable way and Joe Scott does it effortlessly. With a focus on science and history (often both at the same time), Joe tackles an ever-widening range of potentially mind-bending subjects with humility that makes you feel like you're learning with him, not from him.
He's an everyday Joe talking about far from everyday things.
