Byron Bay act Drop Legs bring the party with their psychedelic blend of surf rock, hip hop and reggae.
Drop Legs have built a core following of fans thanks to their energetic party-friendly shows. The last 12 months has seen them play venues and festivals across Europe, New Zealand and Australia including Boom Town (UK), Party In The Paddock, Falls Festival and Island Vibe as well as a sold-out east-coast tour with Tones And I.
Locally, Drop Legs have supported bands such as Ocean Alley and The Bennies.
The release of recent singles 'Witness The Eucalyptus' and 'Pacific Highway Trippin' have boosted their profile with airplay on triple j and rising to over 11,000 monthly Spotify listeners.
With a new tune to rep, ‘Windows Down’, ahead of December shows in NSW and Queensland, the band share 5 ways to stay young and frothing.
1: Work to live not live to work
Life's too short and beautiful to be wasted on a stressful, sh.tty job. Quit or take more time off to hang with your crew and do fun sh.t.2: Buy a van, go surf
Embrace your pay cut and buy a cheap mobile holiday home and stick photos in it, draw on the walls etc. Explore all the coastal hidey holes and get salty. Surfing is fun, cheap and gets you fit and looking good.3: Go to more gigs
With your extra time, go and get loose to some live music, enriching the soul, meeting cool and weird people, getting inspired and supporting a local grassroots industry.4: Smoke weed
Buy a bunch or lollies and go Dutchie up the van with your best bud. Get your giggle on and be really immature.5: Get a new tatt or piercing you were thinking about
F…in’ go for it dude! The whole experience is exciting and invigorating. It’s a rush and it’ll probably look amazing on you.Drop Legs 2019 Tour Dates
