Brisbane-based producer and musician Madeleine Thompson introduces her newest musical project ARCVDIA (pronounced ar-cay-deea).

Known for her acoustic, folk vibes, Madeleine has made a splash throughout Queensland with a number of achievements under her belt. Since the age of 15, she has won various talent competitions as well as being a part of numerous projects such as RAW and ‘Indie 100’.

Now, as a self-taught producer, she dives head first into the electronic/ pop scene, introducing her new sound through the project ARCVDIA.

Through her sultry voice and dreamy vibes, ARCVDIA takes listeners to another world. Her debut track, ‘Like You Did’, tells a captivating story of longing and loss, accompanied with haunting melodies, heavy bass lines and hypnotic synths.

Here, ARCVDIA share 5 ways to get yourself kicked out of an arcade.

1: Send your cat into the claw machine to retrieve prizes for you.

2: Popping all the basketballs when they go anywhere but the hoops.

3: Relentlessly mocking a kid when you beat them on the hammer strength game.

4: Trying to convince the attendant to take a 15-year-old slinky in exchange for game tokens.

5: Climbing into the claw machine to rescue your stuck cat.

‘Like You Did’ is available now.
