DJ Flash has being a regular of Gold Coast's clubbing scene since he become a resident at Platinum in the mid-'10s.
Inspired by Axwell, Alesso, AN21 & Max Vangeli and Paris & Simo, DJ Flash has dropped a number of singles the past couple of years including 'In The Air' and his newest release, 'What You Think' that landed last month.The Sunset Bros remix of his 2019 club hit 'Monster' has been streamed 1.5 million times on Spotify.
DJ Flash is one of Arcade Nightclub's resident DJs; the Gold Coast club - from the mind of Future Music Festival's Mark James – celebrates its opening weekend (4-5 December) with an all local DJ line-up featuring Flash alongside Robina, Damo Cox, Taleena, Minx, Kondo, Tara Blook, Andy Finn and Mark James himself, all preparing to let loose as an alternative social club focussed on house music.
Here, he lists 5 ways becoming a father has changed him positively.
1. Becoming a father has very much changed me as a person. It has also inspired me and given me even more drive to succeed in my career to provide the best possible life for my son.
2. 2020 has been a tough year for us all, including myself with the nightclub industry hit so hard. My son's arrival has been a great positive for my fiancée and me.
3. No matter what kind of day I'm having, my son can change my vibe instantly when he smiles at me.
4. His happiness, health, well being and personal security is more important than your own. You would give up everything for them, without even a second thought.
5. A plus side of working late nights in nightclubs has prepared me for minimal sleep ;)
