Australia’s mash-up lords Bonka are back.
Fresh off the back of their mammoth #1 ARIA Club Chart debut ‘Focus’, Bonka now serve dance floors across the nation with ‘All Your Love’. It's equipped with a summer-inspired piano break and a pacy, rolling house groove that's complemented by the warm vocal offering from The Romantic Era.
As regular travellers (think Thailand, Indonesia, New Zealand, United Kingdom) here Bonka, who produce a monthly podcast called ‘Let’s Go Bonkas', share a few travel travel tips.
1: Noise cancelling headphones
When you’re running on two hours sleep, nursing a belter of a hangover, the sound of either a sleeping baby or an overly talking mum figure or nervous flyer is a deal breaker. So a pair of headphones that drones the sounds of air travel out are worth their weight in gold.
2: Black clothes
No stains, hides a dad bod and is acceptable in all situations. No brainer really.
3: Hangover relief
For creatures of the night in travel mode, this is a necessity. Whether it’s grape Gatorade and a traveller pie to Panadol and Hydralyte, for any serious alcohol enthusiast this is as important as underwear when on the road. (PS. The cause is the cure for those who like to live dangerously)
4: Eat well
Eating is cheating is the greatest lie ever told; a good meal to keep you going is paramount when travelling. Our recommendation is garlic bread and calamari to start followed by a 350g rib fillet steak and don’t forget the sauce.
5: A good crew
No trip ever went anywhere legendary when you were surrounded by a bunch of squares. Fill out your squad with a bunch of larrikins and get stuck in, because the most important part of travelling is enjoying yourself; and the nights you don’t remember are the ones you’ll never forget.
