5 Tips To Navigate Life Between School And The Rest Of Your Life Shared By Krooked Kings

Krooked Kings are an indie rock band from America.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Fresh from showcasing at SXSW after a sold-out US west-coast tour, Salt Lake City's indie surf darlings Krooked Kings have dropped their sophomore album 'All Out Of Good Days'.

A band who have built a loyal online fan base (230k+ TikTok followers, 800k monthly Spotify listeners), Sydney and Melbourne are ranked as the third and fourth highest cities respectively that are their most followed on Instagram.

A vibrant mix of alt-pop cuts and indie-rock gems showcasing energetic vocals atop driving guitars, the 'All Out Of Good Days' project showcases why this group are grabbing attention and continue to find themselves on Spotify viral charts 'round the world.

"We're just five guys from Utah writing about what we know – hoping it'll help us figure things out a little more along the way," shares Krooked Kings.

"This album is about the weird time in life between college and the rest of your life and how utterly confusing, depressing, and enjoyable it can be."

Here, the lads share five tips to survive life between college and the rest of your life. Bless.

1: Stop telling yourself everyone has it figured out. Even the people that seem like they do, are dealing with an entirely different set of identity issues.

2: F... people who tell you to play it safe and don't be scared to try the crazy idea(s). Most of our friends were getting finance jobs and hated their lives. We decided to get barista or bar back gigs and go after the dream. Jury is still out on that one, but at least we're having fun.

3: Get a therapist. No shame, we all have one. Everybody could use someone to talk to when real life starts smacking you in the face.

4: Find good friends and let the sh.tty ones go.

5: Force yourself to find beauty in the struggle. We're still learning this one ourselves.

With the lads already scheduling time in Los Angeles next month to work on a new album (to be produced by surf darling Day Wave), Australian fans can expect a local tour to be revealed later in 2023.
