Indie-roots outfit Good Oak will be busy this long weekend, with double duty at the Caxton Street Festival before backing up for The Elephant Hotel's Block Party on Sunday.
While this won't make Good Oak band members – Ryano, Gibbo and Buzz – anxious, the lads, who began their musical journey jamming as housemates, do get heart palpations, as this list highlights.
1. Booking a tour to launch our debut album without a debut album (tour begins with a launch at The Triffid on Friday the 17 July – the album will be ready!).
2. Vocalist Brett Gibson full of booze asking the sound guy to turn his vocal up as loud as it will go.
3. Hearing the words "which harmony are you taking?" as the drummer counts in a song.
4. Sober crowds.
5. Questionnaires.
Good Oak play the Caxton Street Festival as well as The Elephant Hotel's Block Party 7 June.
