Meant to be played loud and belted out with a certain confidence and braggadocio, the new single from Perth rockers J.F.K, 'Feel It Again', is the perfect antidote to anything sweet or playing it safe.
"'Feel It Again' is a fast paced, energetic, garage-rock banger reflecting my thoughts during a relationship," the band's singer-songwriter James Knox says.
"It's about wondering if you'll still feel the same about the person when everything goes wrong."
With a couple of upcoming shows in Melbourne late August before they return home for a hit-out at Badlands Bar, J.F.K share 5 things they're excited about the upcoming tour.
1. Playing some 10/10 killer shows
We've put together some awesome line-ups with our fave east-coast bands. We can't wait to share the stage with them in August.2. Doing our 'thang' in a different city
Our live show and performance is something really important to us here at J.F.K, and we’re super excited to bring our suits, sweat and manic energy to some new venues.3. It’ll be really nice to spend some quality time with the whole J.F.K crew
We’ve recently added a sixth member (Conor, on guitar), so it’ll be a good bonding opportunity for everyone. Our manager Sarah’s coming across with us too – I’m sure there are going to be plenty of shenanigans.4. The Melbourne weather
Just kidding. I was over there about a month ago and it was literally freezing. I guess getting to wear layers is kind of exciting, especially since it means I get to wear my trench coat that’s usually too hot for Perth.5. Having a rowdy time with new audiences, new friends and new bands
Playing music for us is all about connecting with people and we always have an awesome time playing J.F.K tunes. We can’t wait to show the east coast why they should keep an eye out for the boys in suits.'Feel It Again' is available now.
